Absolue Créations TIM Absolue – AES/EBU digitale kabel, 1 meter XLR
De TIM Absolue is het absolute topmodel in de digitale kabelrange van het Franse Absolue Créations — een merk dat in audiofiele kringen bekendstaat om zijn vakmanschap en uitgesproken muzikale karakter.
Deze AES/EBU (XLR) kabel is gebouwd rond een propriëtaire kopergeleider (multi-strand, 10×0.10mm, 0.08mm²), volledig afgeschermd met vertind koper (100% dekking), koolstofscherm en PTFE-isolatie.
De connectoren zijn van Furutech — CF-601 NCF(R) en CF-602 NCF(R) — met NCF-technologie voor mechanische demping en ladingsneutralisatie. Handgemaakt en individueel getest in Frankrijk, serienummer 62205, bouwjaar 2023.
Wat je hoort: een rustige, gecontroleerde presentatie zonder hardheid. Ruimte, diepte en timing komen goed tot hun recht. Geen kleurende kabel maar heel transparant.
Reden van verkoop: mijn streamer is overbodig geworden omdat streaming nu direct via mijn DAC loopt.

The TIM Absolue is the flagship digital cable from French manufacturer Absolue Créations — a brand with a strong following among European audiophiles for its craftsmanship and musical transparency.
This AES/EBU (XLR) cable is built around a proprietary multi-strand copper conductor (10×0.10mm, 0.08mm²), with 100% tinned copper shielding, a conductive carbon layer, and PTFE dielectric. Connectors are Furutech CF-601 NCF(R) and CF-602 NCF(R), featuring NCF technology for mechanical damping and charge dissipation. Handmade and individually tested in France. Serial number 62205, manufactured 2023.
Sonically: a composed, unfatiguing presentation with good spatial depth and precise timing. It stays out of the way of the music rather than adding its own character.
Reason for sale: my dedicated streamer became redundant after integrating streaming directly into my DAC. The cable has seen minimal use as a result.
